The Gigabit-Grundbuch is the central access portal for providing relevant information on infrastructure expansion planning as well as on the current and future level of telecommunications coverage. It consolidates existing geoinformation systems into a single portal interface.
The Gigabit-Grundbuch consists of various web applications, including the Infrastrukturatlas and the central entry portal “Mein Gigabit-Grundbuch”, formerly known as the ISA-Portal. From now on, the portal serves not only as a hub for accessing the Infrastrukturatlas and supplying infrastructure data, but also as the entry point to the Analyseplattform of the Bundesnetzagentur.
The Analyseplattform is a secure information and analysis tool for federal and state authorities. It provides detailed data on fixed-line and mobile coverage, funding projects, and infrastructures, thereby supporting public administration in expansion planning.
Since December 1, 2025, users can register for the Analyseplattform via “Mein Gigabit-Grundbuch.” Once activated, direct access to the platform is available. Thanks to the integrated Single-Sign-On, users benefit from convenient access to both the Infrastrukturatlas and the Analyseplattform of the Bundesnetzagentur.
In addition, the platform is protected by two-factor authentication with one-time password. Users can also request changes to their access configuration, such as adjusting the regional view for the Analyseplattform of the Bundesnetzagentur, and extend their access period as needed.
